Barbara Silverstein

Barbara Silverstein is a CASAC (Certified Addiction Substance Abuse Counselor), and a CCAR Recovery Coach and trainer. Barbara has dedicated her professional and personal life to learning, embodying, and applying strategies from the areas of recovery, health, and wellness to help recovering addicts and alcoholics. In 2013, after seeing a serious need for recovering individuals to spend more time with one-on-one support services, Road 2 Recovery was founded. Ms. Silverstein currently serves on Brooklyn’s Addiction and Recovery Task Force, and she coaches individuals, runs support groups for families affected by those suffering from the disease of addiction, provides interventions, makes rehab referrals, and offers education and prevention. Her personal mission statement in life is to “Make a Life, Make a Living, Make a Difference.” But if you ask her what her greatest contribution to life is, she will quickly say… her beautiful children and grandchildren.
