“When life throws you obstacles, you learn to ride the waves with all your power and overcome these barriers at great lengths! I am a believer that we are all capable of reaching our highest potentials.”

Ashley Belizaire

I am a licensed mental health counselor whose main priority is building a trusting, empathetic, therapeutic relationship, allowing the client to feel comfortable and safe in a nonjudgmental, collaborative environment. Working from the client’s perspective, I put their views and cultural backgrounds into heavy consideration.

As an eclectic therapist, I use various forms of therapeutic modalities to help match my client’s treatment plan and objectives (e.g.  Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Psychodynamic Therapy, Mindfulness—based Cognitive Therapy (MBCT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), and Strength-based Therapy). I am a firm believer that integrating the wholeness of an individual is what helps to make effective treatment gains!

I am currently getting certified as a Holistic Nutritionist through the AFPA and I am excited to use my EDIT training to help those suffering with eating disorders know that they are not alone, become masters of their own mind and body and that recovery is a very possible thing to achieve!
