Julia Lockart

Julia is a EDIT Level 1 certified Peer Mentor. She is currently pursuing her Master’s of Arts in Professional Mental Health Counseling with a specialization in addictions at Lewis & Clark College. She is passionate about serving youth and folks seeking recovery from eating disorders. She volunteers at Hello Life Recovery Services in Cowlitz County, WA where she provides peer mentoring services for those in recovery from an eating disorder. As someone who is in recovery from her own eating disorder, she is passionate about using her experiences as a way to empathize with and support others who are currently struggling. Her hope is to pursue work supporting youth experiencing eating disorders throughout her career.
