Christina LaTona

Christina is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW). She has a Bachelor’s degree from Seton Hall University and a Master’s degree from Fordham University. She is also a Certified School Social Worker. Christina currently works in a public school setting, as well as a private practice setting. During her experience working with many different populations, she developed a special interest in the treatment of eating disorders and became EDIT™ Certified. Christina has an eclectic approach to therapy, using a combination of CBT, DBT and Psychodynamic techniques in helping clients through their recovery process. In addition to eating disorders, she has experience with clients suffering from anxiety, depression, relational issues, trauma, grief and substance abuse. She believes that by challenging unhealthy cognitions and behaviors, one can truly become more empowered, improve their life and reclaim their “True Self.”
