Athena Farmer

I have been an RN since 1991 (Certified Maternal Newborn Care),  IBCLC (International Board Certified Lactation Consultant), Lamaze Certified Childbirth Educator. I am the mother of three adult children. My oldest daughter is in the Airforce, my middle son lives in NYC, my youngest son lives at home and is a welder.

My interest in Eating Disorder Coaching started when my 27 year old son (lives in NYC) developed an Eating Disorder. Out of necessity I became his coach. He and I worked together to create a plan to lead him into full recovery. He and I have always had a very good relationship, but through this process our relationship has improved so much. I am now a much better listener and he is much better at communicating his feelings.
