Question: What education do I need to become EDIT™ Certified?

Answer from Dr. Dorie:  There are no education requirements to become EDIT™ Certified. However, the more education you have, the easier the EDIT™ Certified curriculum will be for you to fully comprehend. If you have a Masters Degree in Counseling, a Doctorate in Psychology, or equivalent education, then you likely received some education about eating disorders in your coursework. Some portions of the EDIT™ Certified education segments can serve as a review for you – although the EDIT™ Theory and Techniques will provide you with new concepts about the etiology and treatment of eating disorders from an integrative perspective. The EDIT™ Certified curriculum is designed to meet the needs of participants at a variety of educational levels! LEARN MORE
